Contemporary Planting for a family in Finchley
This traditional garden was mostly planted with clipped shrubs and surrounded by wooden fence, and in need of a complete re-design and facelift.
The owners specifically asked for a modern design with contemporary planting that would be low- maintenance, but also safe and suitable for their young daughter to play in.
We introduced a diagonal design to add interest and provide movement in an otherwise square garden, and suggested a sunken trampoline and a raised bench doubling up as storage. Contemporary planting with topiary balls, grasses, ferns and bamboos completed the design.
